Slovenia’s capital is set to welcome the new luxury hotel to add to the city’s exclusive hotels and resorts inventory with the signing of InterContinental Ljubljana.
The new high-end property that resulted in an agreement between InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Delta Holding is set to open in 2017.
This exquisite hotel will have 165 rooms and will be located in the center of Ljubljana. It will have convenient access to Dunajska Cesta, the famous shopping mall and business district, and the main train station in the capital.
Apart from its great location, InterContinental Ljubljana will feature exceptional vistas of the historical sites of Presernov Square, Triple Bridge and views of the river.
The construction of the new hotel is due to start before the end of 2015. Its 165 rooms will consist of presidential suites, two banquet halls that can cater up to 500 people each, and six boardrooms.
Other top-notch facilities such as a spa, swimming pool, and a fitness area will also be available for guests to enjoy.
The hotel’s all-day restaurant will be placed at the 21st floor, with an outdoor dining terrace where guests can view panoramic sights of the city.
